About Carol

Every leader I work with already has the expertise. What they need is positioning that makes it impossible to overlook.

I help executives, senior leaders, and established founders close the gap between the level of their work and the level at which they are recognised.

The journey that shaped the work.

I moved to Ireland in 2008 with an executive career behind me in Brazil and started over completely.

Waitress. Hotel reception. Multinationals. Management roles. Google Dublin. My own business.

That path taught me something most positioning work misses: the world does not always receive you at the level you know you operate.

You can have the experience, the intelligence, the work ethic, the depth, and the ambition, and still be misread if the positioning around you is not carrying the full truth of who you are.

I learned that the expensive way.

I burned out twice. Once inside a corporate environment that had stopped being aligned with who I was. Once as a business owner who had not yet built the positioning boundaries that protect the work.

Both times the root issue was the same. My expertise was not the problem. My positioning was not protecting it.

That changed how I work. It is why I am direct about authority, perception, and the cost of being misunderstood.

Expertise without positioning is invisible.

Most leaders I work with are not under qualified. They are under positioned.

Their work is strong. Their credibility is real. Their value is clear once people get close enough to see it. The problem is that senior opportunities are often decided before people get that close.

Positioning fixes that, but not when it is treated as surface level personal branding. The work has to start deeper than visibility. It has to begin with essence, move through strategy, and create a position that others can understand, trust, and repeat.

Branded From Within™

My signature methodology Branded From Within™ is built on one formula.

Essence + Strategy = Positioning.

Diagram showing three steps: essence represented by a rough diamond, strategy by a hand holding a pen above a cut diamond, and positioning by an outlined diamond.

The Diamond Metaphor

A diamond does not become valuable because it is polished. It was valuable before anyone saw it. But without cutting, clarity, and precision, that value is not fully visible.

That is what this methodology does. It does not invent authority. It uncovers, shapes, and expresses the authority already there.

  • Essence: who you are, what you stand for, and what makes your authority distinct.

  • Strategy: the structure that turns that essence into a clear position, message, narrative, and presence.

  • Positioning: the result, a professional identity that is understood faster, trusted sooner, and chosen more consistently.

Credentials and experience.

My work is grounded in a rare combination of brand positioning, HR leadership, marketing strategy, and experience inside multinational environments, including Google Dublin.

That combination matters because senior leaders are not overlooked because they lack expertise. They are overlooked when perception, message, presence, and evidence are not aligned around the full weight of their authority.

My HR background gives me a clear view of how credibility is formed inside organisations, how perception shapes progression, and why authority is often lost before performance is ever questioned.

Alongside that, I have built my own advisory practice, spoken for audiences including PSA Ireland, Network Ireland, Jobs Expo, and Biz Expo, and been featured in the Irish Examiner and Irish Independent.

I understand how authority is built in the market, inside organisations, and in the room.
